I used to walk a good 40 minutes round-trip to my job and to redeem the time I’d listen to a sermon or theological podcast. I’ll be posting some recommendations. I don’t agree with everything said, but these are informative and thought-provoking.

I have been dwelling on the blessing it is to be part of my church Calvary Chapel York and a teacher at our Bible College. In light of our annual UK Pastors & Leaders Conference (beginning today), I thought I’d share a few reasons why my wife and I love the Calvary Chapel movement. These are particularly true in our church in York.
Eschatology. For some, it is the icing on the cake of theology; they can’t get enough. Others roll their eyes at the thought of wild-eyed theories, bearded bomb-shell-dwellers, zombie apocalypses, and so on. However, eschatology is important. Rather than simply futile speculation about future events, Biblical eschatology reflects the saving activity and purposes of God.
A few weeks back I posted the last parts of an interview with CCBC teacher Joel Wingo on the book of Job. I thought it would be helpful to re-post the three parts in one post so they are easier to find. Joel is a great guy and popular teacher at Calvary Chapel Bible College Murietta and I was encouraged and inspired by this interview. I hope it will be a blessing and helpful resource for anyone who wants to study this fascinating book.
