T. Desmond Alexander has provided the church with a magnificent work of Biblical Theology that is both accessible and scholarly.
In 2004 G. K. Beale released a book entitled The Temple and the Church’s Mission: A Biblical Theology of the Dwelling Place of God.This book is on my must-read list, mostly due to hearing him provide a summary lecture of its contents.
Biblical Theology is a topic that is coming alive for me, particularly because of Gordon Fee’s Pauline Christology which has been blowing my mind. While Systematic Theology is incredibly important, I’ve been particularly blessed by seeing doctrines being built out of solid exegesis right before my eyes.
